Culturing Science – biology as relevant to us earthly beings

Carnival of Evolution #24

leave a comment »

I’m a few weeks behind on this… but head over to NeuroDojo for the latest Carnival of Evolution – brain edition.

Some greats posts up: the evolution of the silica skeletons of glass sponges at Deep Sea News; how human’s evolution to fill a “cognitive niche” encouraged us to become scholars; the comparative evolution of brains and microchips; and NeuroDojo’s own post on the origin of bone in vertebrates.  Head over for more great posts!

The 25th Carnival of Evolution will be hosted right here at Culturing Science!  Submit posts here, and see you next month.
